Overview

This is a short course dealing with basic knowledge in first aid skills, and is suitable for small work place environments where full HSE First Aid at Work requirements are not essential but there is still a need for first aid cover. This course is also suitable for any person who feels they should have a knowledge in first aid skills

Who should attend?
Any person who feels they should have knowledge in first aid skills.
Any small low risk work place requiring first aid cover but does not require full HSE recommended cover ie small shops, offices workshops.

Course Outcome
On successful completion of the course, each candidate will have knowledge in first aid and will receive a certificate of attendance Valid for 3 years

Course Content

o Priorities of treatment
o Actions in an emergency
o Assessment of injuries/illness
o Unconscious casualty
o Cardiopulmonary resuscitation
o Fracture management
o Control of bleeding
o Causes of unconsciousness
o Choking

£55 plus VAT per candidate
£500 plus VAT for 12 candidates
