Overview: |
| New changes to First Aid Regulations come into force on the 1st October 2009. The HSE now recommends that everyone that holds either the full First Aid at Work certificate or the new Emergency First Aid certificate attends an annual half day skills update. |

Who should
attend? |
| Any delegate currently holding a First Aid at Work Certificate or Emergency First Aid wanting to refresh their skills annually to prevent "skills degradation". |

Course
Outcome: |
| On completion of the training the delegate will receive a certificate of competence valid for twelve months. This does not however remove the obligation to formally refresh the First Aid at Work qualification three yearly. |

Course Content: |
| Skills updates will cover as a minimum:
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
Recovery Position
Wound and Bleeding
However students will also be able to use the trainer to reflect on and update on any first aid related subject |
